Petition Fatigue
Silent, stalwart unarmed forces need your support. The mountains and the hills stand at attention every day. They provide the sanctuary and protection for a miraculous ecosystem. It starts with the understory that receives, stores and distributes the precious water that supports all life.
They have no voice to stop the desecration of all their inner workings. The cavalier attitude of humans, fuels unrelenting resource extraction, deforestation and infra-structure to dig massive pits, explode the tops off rugged, timeless mountains all the while sullying our water and our air. There is no accord for any meaningful restoration and it’s impossible to reclaim our water towers to their original integrity. These actions must be tempered.
Water Not Coal is our pathway to giving voice to all Albertans by way of a referendum. Now is the time to dig deep and sign one more petition. Deadline for submission is June 5th, 2026. Our collective, strong voice will resonate and echo throughout our province, our home, our sanctuary. This will give us a voice in guiding and protecting one of the most beautiful, bountiful and irreplaceable landscapes in the world.
